I met Sean and Ben upstairs for a few minutes the other day while at work. It was a nice break to see them and a beautiful day... it made me happy at work. We took a few quick pics in the front of Magic Kingdom. They turned out really well and I love them.

Chase took me to dinner at a restaurant I have never been to before... It was so good. They had Pad Thai which I have not had since Oregon. We had a nice chat and it was fun to hang out with someone while I was waiting to go to the airport. We took Lolita out that night and had fun hanging out.

For Laura's last night here we went to Jellyrolls and Atlantic Dance Hall. We met up with Sean, Bobby, Greg, Daniel, and Kristen and had a lot of fun. We sang along with the dueling pianos and then went and danced the night away. We ended the night in my car rocking out to a really bad but also great song... "call me maybe"... thanks Greg for getting us all hooked!

While Laura was here we went on a random drive to see what we could find. We ended up stopping by a random Orange Grove called the Showcase of Citrus. It was pretty fun and I liked all the old fashioned signs and the family appeal of it. They had a ton of oranges and other fruit, homemade honey, baked goods, and so much more. It was also set up like a little tourist attraction with a monster truck school bus and all sorts of photo ops... it was really cute.

Laura came to visit me! It has been amazing so far. I picked her up from the airport and it was like things never changed, like we have not seen each other in over 6 months. Our first stop was to Wal-mart for groceries, its the only place that's open at 1am, and I hate that place. We had quite the escapade there that night, it was fun shenanigans like always. We spent some time with Ben and Sean in Celebration which was great, I was so happy they got to meet. Since them, we have just been hanging out, watching movies, and just having fun. Its easy and fun, love that.

I got a new car! It is my dream car, a Ford Escape and I love it. My Focus died on me, so it was time to move on. It was a sad day, I loved my Focus and was not so thrilled to give it up, but it was time. The new car is so cute and I love it. I was a bit afraid of the color at first, but everyone says its so me, and I have to agree, it is. The color is Lime Squeeze (which I love) so we named her Lolita. I love the name and the car. Making car payments for the first time in a long time is going to be interesting, but its going to be worth it. So here is to Lolita, the Lime Squeeze Escape!

Wednesday, May 9th

This is how Wednesday went last week....

It started out as a super exciting day. Ben was graduating from JetBlue University and was getting his wings to be a flight attendant. I got up, got ready, and headed out to the airport to meet Sean and Ben's Mom, Kim, for the graduation. It was a super cute ceremony and it was so fun to see Ben get his wings. He was so proud and we were proud of him. He worked really hard for something he has talked about a ton since the day I met him. I was so happy I got to be there and be apart of that day, it was really special. After the ceremony we took some pictures and hang out with Ben for a little bit before he went to the airport to finish the last step of training in New York.

So, after we dropped off Ben and his mom at the airport, Sean and I went back to the hotel to pick up my car and help take care of Ben's. Ben's car had stopped running a few days before and so Sean and I waited for AAA and the tow truck to come take it to the dealership. Normally, this would be something I wouldn't even blog about but it was the beginning of a crazy day of car issues. So, Ben's car was off to get fixed and Sean and I headed out to go home and hang out. And then on the way home, my car DIED... seriously. I was cruising down 528 behind Sean and my car died completely. I was lucky enough to get over to the side of the road  but it was done. So for the second time that day, Sean and I called AAA and hung out in his car waiting for a tow truck. It was beyond ridiculous and like the universe was playing a cruel joke on us. Sean was amazing though and stayed with me, helped me get stuff from my car, and then we took his car to his house to just relax from the crazy. He seriously is such a good friend and I was beyond thankful that he was with me in that moment. I wanted to have a meltdown and he helped me big time.... Thank you so much Sean!

So once the car drama was done, we went to Sean's apartment to make the day better, relax, and have fun. Sean is the most amazing bar tender and made some great martinis... so good! Chase and Bobby came and met us and then we went out dancing. We love to dance and we have lots of fun! After dancing, we took our famished selves to McDonald's, I totally got a happy meal. We were pretty foolish there that night, but it was fun. Sometimes its okay to be silly, and this night was one of those nights. I am so thankful that I have such good friends and that took me out and tried to get me to relax and not worry about the stress of the car for the night when there was nothing I could do about it. I had a lot of fun that night, thanks boys!

And thank you so much Sean again, you are a great friend and were beyond amazing that day. I was so thankful you were there and you helped me out so much. The drinks were great, the dancing was fun, and McDonald's was hilarious. You are the best!

Oh, and Ben... CONGRATULATIONS! So proud of you!

April 2012

Another month has gone by... here is April in pictures

April 1- drove to work early today.

April 2- Erin left to move back home.

April 4- I got a phone call in the morning to have lunch at the hospital.

April 5- Bobby and I spent the day out running some errands and finished it with happy hour.

April 6- So, this pic was taken at 2am... but technically it was the 6th.

April 7- Ben, Chase, and I dyed Easter Eggs... it was a fun night.

April 8- I made chocolate chip bunny pancakes for Easter.

I brought some to Sean for lunch... I like to cook for my friends. 

April 9- Late night walks in Celebration again... 

Then fun times with Sean, Ben, and Bobby. It was a good night.

April 10- Sometimes I forget how amazing it is that I can see these every night...

April 11- Ben left for training and new adventures.

I made him a c-d and case to send him off with good music.

Also, I love being creative!

April 12- I spent all day at home for the first time in forever.

It was amazing... and this is how I felt.

April 13- I caught the Main Street Electrical Parade.

Its been a long time since I've seen it.

April 14- It has been months since I read a book. It felt good to do that again.

April 15- I was handed the keys to a WDW company vehicle and asked to go to Epcot on a mission. 

Don and I went. It was fun... I love missions for work!

April 16- Ben and my last lunch at work together. 

I will miss those lunch dates.

April 17- Greg and I went on a little coffee date and got a treat. 

He is fun to hang out with!

 April 18- I already posted this pic but it needs to be posted again.

Sean made me dinner. I love it.

It was a crazy day for me, he was so cute about it.

April 19- I went on a cooking spree at home.

2 lasagnas, pulled chicken in the crock pot with corn casserole, and a potato crust quiche (and cookies).

So amazing... I love to cook!

April 20- Florida weather can change so fast.

It was a beautiful morning, then it started pouring in the afternoon.

I love the rain... it was so pretty.

 April 21- Rice Krispie Treat from Main Street at work- Yes, please!

April 22- Everyone should drink coffee from a cup like this in the morning...it makes things better.

April 23- Greg and I at Tavern. 

He got his mug finally. It was amazing!

April 24- I got a "stalker" love note at work.

It makes me smile... 

April 25- I have been spending a lot of time at the World of Disney...

I love the crazy there though... and the leaders and coordinators I get to work with.

April 26- Bobby and I went to the mall to get him some new clothes.

The M&M guy was there at the store... creepy! It was funny!

April 27- It happened... I gave in and joined Pinterest... its dangerous!

April 28- It was one of those days where ice cream for dinner was a good idea.

April 29- Chase came to visit from Epcot.

Bobby and I went on lunch with him. It was a fun treat at work.

April 30- The view driving home tonight.
